A project for an organization called Friends of the Library. The Buncombe County Library’s West Asheville branch Friends of the Library wanted to thank volunteers of the library with gift certificates. They wanted to add a warm home made touch to the gifts. I created a simple emboss pattern from two pieces of mat board in which we would hand press the print on deckled paper. I and another librarian - my wife - then pressed, folded, and wrapped with the black band all the gift certificates in these hand made thank you cards.
